Girl's Got a Reputation
Even though she’s busy fronting a brand new band called The Reputation, Elizabeth Elmore’s reputation is mainly as lead vocalist for the late 90’s indie group, Sarge. Adored by a press bored almost to tears by what seems like an hourly deluge of lame indie-rock releases, Elmore and The Reputation are often talked up so much you’d think they were here to save the planet or something. The catchy tunes on the band’s self-titled debut have a distinct Foo Fighters feel, with Elmore’s witty writing taking it higher. I don’t know if it’ll reunite you with your long lost love or bring lasting peace to the middle east, but don’t let that stop you from seeing what will probably be a blowout of a show on Saturday.
