Born 4/30/76, bicentennial baby.
From Rochester, Il, population 2500. Attended University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign, bachelor’s in finance.
Was in a band called Sarge, records listed below.
Went to law school at Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, IL, loved it. Went to law school and played in Sarge, was very busy. Sarge broke up, wasn’t happy. Played solo for a while, kind of sucked. Started a new band, was then happier. Worked at a law firm called Jones Day Reavis & Pogue as a summer associate, loved the super smart surly old partners. Took a leave of absence from law school, started touring. Named the band the Reputation, released a self-titled record on Initial Records.
Elizabeth's Discography:
(this is what I can remember, feel free to make suggestions)
the Patrick Dance
(short-lived band with Bob and Chris from Braid, Neil from Gainer, Steve from DMS and Brian Shortall. I played keyboards and occasionally sang.)
1996 - "Oooh Do I Love You" - The Core for Care Benefit Comp -- song entitled "All the cats LOVE the dogs."
Arroll/Elmore
(Rob Arroll used to be in a great band called Mary Me with Todd and Roy from Braid. He played solo sometimes and occasionally I would join him. We did a show together on WEFT in Champaign on my 20th birthday that I may try to do something with at some point. This is a song he wrote that I sang on for a comp I helped put out).
1996 - "Oooh Do I Love You" The Core for Care Benefit Comp -- song entitled "Lately how I LOVE you."
Naked Raygun
1996 - "The Last of the Demohicans" CD - I sang on "trio"
Sarge
(band I used to be in for a little over 4 years. Chad who played drums on the first Reputation CD was also in this band. We toured our asses off, got some pretty decent press and actually started to do pretty well. Then we broke up - not my choice for the record.)
1996 - "Oooh Do I love You" - The Core for Care Benefit Comp - song entitled "Dear Josie, Love Robyn."
1996 - "Dear Josie, Love Robyn b/w The Last Boy" - 7" on Mud Records
1996 - "Charcoal" - CD on Mud Records
1996 - CMJ November compilation CD - "Dear Josie, Love Robyn"
1997 - "Stall b/w Time after Time" - 7" on Mud Records

2000 - "Distant" CD on Mud Records
2000 - Parasol's Sweet Sixteen Volume 2 has "Detroit Star-lite" from "Distant" on it
******* I’m probably forgetting some stuff here!
Very Secretary
1998 - Guested on a song called "Composure" (I think). Off of their debut album "Best Possible Souvenier."

The Hushdrops
Release date? This is a great band but I’m not sure when the CD is going to be released. I sang backing vocals on three songs along with Carolyn from the Chamber Strings.

2002 - "The Reputation" CD on Initial Records
2002 - Kill Rock Stars "Fields and Streams" comp - demo version of "For the Win"
